A Website Template for Scholé Groups
A website is an ideal way to share your group with the community while facilitating communication and collaboration within your group. We have crafted a customizable website template, designed and filled with content specifically for Scholé Groups. Our template features an “About” section describing the key qualities of a Scholé Group, as well as an extensive “Members” section with built-in features such as Assignments, Calendar, Resource Library, Directory, Photo Gallery, and Blog. All content is customizable, and you are welcome to keep, adjust, or replace content as you wish. View a demo of our website template here.
Ready to begin? We’re delighted to offer you our template at no charge. However, in most cases, we recommend utilizing a website specialist who can set up your website for a small fee (see below).
Our website support specialists are independent contractors who are equipped to set up your website for you (including domain name, hosting, and import of the template) and provide as much or as little assistance with customization and maintenance as you wish. Website Support Specialists set their own fees, and payment is made directly to the specialist.

How customizable is your template?
Our template is fully customizable! The template is populated with boiler plate content that you are welcome to keep, adjust, or replace. Our website support specialists are equipped to teach you how to implement some changes yourself (if you wish). They are also equipped to make custom changes and help you modify the site to best serve the needs of your group.
Can you send me the template directly (without tech support)?
Yes, we can provide you with the template directly. However, in most cases we do not recommend this route. The template has been designed and developed by professionals, and initial setup requires expertise in hosting and maintaining WordPress sites and servers on your own. With this in mind, we highly recommend working with one of our website support specialists for initial site setup and customization.
If you would like us to send you the template directly, please contact us. We will transfer the file using Google Drive.
Will I be responsible for domain name and hosting?
Yes, you will be financially responsible for the domain name and hosting of your website, but our website support specialists are ready to help guide you through this setup process. Domain names typically cost $5–$30/year. The price of hosting varies, but is typically $5–$15/mo. We recommend Digital Ocean as a host and IWantMyName.com for finding a domain name.
I’m looking for a simpler website option. What do you recommend?
If you’re looking for a more basic website builder, Wix, Weebly, or SquareSpace are options that require little website expertise. WordPress.com is also a good option. (Note that WordPress.com offers more basic options than WordPress.org).
